The Ready to Wear Tailor will be responsible for adjusting and finishing ready-to-wear garments to meet individual client measurements and fit preferences. Daily tasks include assessing garments, performing fittings via virtual consultations, interpreting alteration requests, and executing tailoring techniques such as hemming, tapering, and reshaping. The role involves collaborating with the customer service team to clarify client needs, documenting measurements and changes accurately, and ensuring garments meet ANTIC’s quality standards before final delivery. The tailor will also provide expert guidance on fit, styling, and garment care, and maintain clear, timely communication with internal teams. Qualifications
Strong tailoring and dressmaking skills, including garment construction, alterations, and finishing.
Proficiency in fitting and measurement techniques, with the ability to interpret client fit needs remotely.
Effective communication and customer service skills, with a focus on clarity, patience, and professionalism.
Experience working with different fabrics and ready-to-wear styles, including formal and casual wear.
Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage time efficiently, and meet agreed deadlines.
Access to and proficient use of professional sewing equipment and tools.
Previous experience in fashion, tailoring, or garment production; formal training or certification in tailoring or fashion design is beneficial.
