Public Speaking Coach (Remote)

Jordan & Brooke K-12 is seeking an engaging and experienced Public Speaking Coach to deliver interactive online workshops for school students across Australia.

We are only accepting candidates currently residing in Australia.

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator, coach, presenter, or communication professional who enjoys helping young people build confidence, strengthen their speaking skills, and express themselves effectively in a supportive online environment.

About the Role

As part of our growing enrichment programs, you will facilitate dynamic online public speaking workshops designed for students across multiple year levels. Workshops focus on confidence-building, verbal communication, presentation delivery, storytelling, and audience engagement in a fun and encouraging learning environment.

Position Details

• Remote
• Contract-based
• Australia-based applicants ONLY
• Workshop cycles commence from July 2026 and continue every 2-3 months throughout the year

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and age-appropriate online public speaking workshops for grade levels 3-8.
• Create a positive and encouraging learning atmosphere that supports student confidence and participation
• Teach core communication and presentation techniques including:
• Speech structure and writing skills
• Voice projection and articulation
• Body language and stage presence
• Storytelling and persuasive speaking
• Adapt coaching strategies to suit different learning styles and confidence levels
• Provide constructive and supportive feedback to students
• Encourage student growth, creativity, and self-expression

Workshop Schedule

• One online workshop per week over a 5-week period for each workshop intake
• Flexible scheduling options available

Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience in public speaking coaching, debating, drama, teaching, communication training, or youth mentoring
• Is confident delivering engaging sessions in an online environment
• Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Is passionate about student wellbeing, confidence-building, and education
• Can connect positively with students across different age groups
• Holds relevant teaching, coaching, performing arts, communications, or education qualifications (preferred but not essential)
• Has a valid Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain one)
