Alongside is seeking an experienced and results-oriented Business Development Manager (full-remote) to drive growth across the Netherlands and Nordic regions. The ideal candidate is a proactive, self-motivated professional with a deep understanding of B2B sales dynamics in these markets. This role involves building lasting client relationships, generating new business opportunities, and contributing to the company's growth in a fast-paced, rewarding environment. Responsibilities Lead Generation: Identify and qualify potential clients across the Netherlands and Nordic regions through various outreach channels. Client Outreach: Initiate meaningful conversations with potential clients to present solutions tailored to their unique needs. Market Knowledge: Develop a thorough understanding of our services and articulate their value propositions to potential clients. Sales Presentations: Create and deliver impactful presentations that showcase our solutions and their benefits. Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, ensuring excellent service throughout the sales process. Closing Deals: Work with internal teams to close deals, including creating proposals, negotiating terms, and handling client inquiries. Sales Reporting: Keep accurate records of sales activities and client interactions using a CRM system. Market Insights: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments in the Netherlands and Nordics to inform sales strategies. Requirements Bachelor or equivalent degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred. 3+ years of experience in New Client Acquisition, Business Development, or B2B sales, ideally within IT Services or Staffing/Consulting industries in the Netherlands or Scandinavia. Fluency in English, preferably with Dutch or a Nordic language. Strong verbal and written communication, with proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets. Proficiency in CRM tools, Microsoft Office Suite, and other sales platforms. Familiarity with business practices and cultural nuances in the Netherlands and Nordic regions. Self-driven and able to operate autonomously. Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time within the Netherlands and Nordic regions. Must be authorized to work in the EU without sponsorship.
