We work with learners globally and are growing our business development team to support outreach and engagement activities across our programmes.
Role Overview
Uptrail is looking for a motivated and communicative Business Development Intern to join our remote team. This is a communication-focused role suited to students or recent graduates who are confident in written English, enjoy engaging with people professionally, and are looking to gain practical experience in outreach, networking, and business development.
You will support our outreach efforts by engaging with professionals, sharing information about our programmes, and helping expand our network through structured communication activities.
Internship type: Part-time
Duration: 2 months
Working hours: 1–2 hours per day during UK business hours
Stipend: ₹15,000 per month
Work arrangement: Fully remote
Location: Bengaluru, India
What You Will Do
- Initiate and maintain professional conversations with relevant contacts through digital communication channels
- Share clear and engaging information about Uptrail’s programmes with prospective learners and professionals
- Follow structured outreach processes and message frameworks provided by the team
- Record daily outreach activity, responses, and follow-ups in an organised tracker
- Attend regular training sessions and apply learnings to improve outreach effectiveness
- Assist with ongoing business development and network expansion activities
- Provide regular updates on outreach progress to the team
Who We Are Looking For
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in any discipline
- Strong written communication skills in English
- Professional, confident, and comfortable engaging with new contacts digitally
- Active on professional networking platforms and familiar with online communication tools
- Organised and detail-oriented with the ability to maintain accurate daily records
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
- Self-motivated and able to manage time effectively with flexible working hours
- Genuine interest in business development, outreach, or communications
- Available to start immediately and commit to the full 2-month duration
