Upwork Business Developer (Bidding)

We’re growing our agency and looking for a sharp Upwork Bidder who knows how to turn job posts into signed clients.

You’ll be bidding through our established Top Rated Plus account (97 JSS) — meaning your proposals actually get seen and your work translates into closed deals, not wasted connects.

What you’ll do

• Hunt daily for relevant Upwork jobs in WordPress, Shopify, Webflow, and UI/UX design

• Write personalized, high-converting proposals (no copy-paste templates)

• Handle initial client conversations and qualify leads before handoff to our team

• Track metrics, refine what works, and keep our proposal library fresh

What we’re looking for

• 2+ years of Upwork bidding experience with proof of closed deals

• Excellent written English and a consultative tone

• Solid grasp of WordPress, Shopify, Webflow, and UI/UX scope and pricing

• Familiarity with Upwork connects strategy, JSS, and platform best practices

Bonus points for

• Experience working with agency-owned Upwork accounts

• Familiarity with Fiverr, LinkedIn outreach, or other lead-gen platforms

• Basic Figma literacy to read design briefs
