Talent Acquisition Specialist

We are currently looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to support candidates seeking employment opportunities in the Canadian and U.S. job markets.

This role is ideal for professionals with recruitment or hiring experience who are interested in generating additional income through flexible freelance work. The position is fully remote and assignments are provided on an occasional basis depending on business needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct mock interviews with candidates applying for jobs in Canada and the United States.
• Evaluate candidates according to the job description and vacancy provided.
• Identify candidate strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement.
• Assess communication skills, professionalism, and overall alignment with Canadian and U.S. workplace expectations.
• Provide constructive and professional feedback to help candidates better adapt to Canadian and U.S. hiring standards, workplace culture, and employer expectations.

Prepare a written evaluation report after each mock interview, including:

• Strengths
• Weaknesses
• Communication assessment
• Areas requiring improvement
• General feedback regarding market readiness

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist, Recruiter, HR Professional, or Hiring Manager.
• Proven experience evaluating and interviewing candidates for both the Canadian and U.S. job markets.
• Strong understanding of the employment market, hiring culture, recruitment practices, and workplace expectations in both Canada and the United States.
• Experience managing and evaluating different types of candidate profiles, including executive-level professionals.
• Strong interview and candidate assessment skills.
• Ability to identify candidate strengths, weaknesses, and development opportunities.
• Experience providing professional, objective, and actionable feedback.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
