Required Skills
- Experience in a cloud production support or system reliability role, hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, such as Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine (GKE), Cloud Monitoring (Stackdriver), Cloud Logging, and Cloud Storage.
- Proficient in using monitoring tools like Cloud Monitoring, Stackdriver or similar to track system performance
- Strong understanding of system performance metrics (e.g., CPU, memory, disk, network) and how to diagnose and resolve related issues.
- Experience with incident management and troubleshooting production systems in a live environment.
- Proficient in scripting or automating tasks using tools like Bash, Python, or similar

- Network Engineering: Mid-level proficiency in IP switching and routing, with hands-on experience in troubleshooting and optimizing network paths in production environments.
Valuable Tools & Certifications
- Platform-Specific Tools:Proficient with tools from cloud providers like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud,
and with VoIP management platforms.
- Netscout NG1: Hands-on experience with Netscout NG1 for real-time network performance monitoring, traffic analysis, and troubleshooting across VoIP and UC environments.
- Wireshark: Proficient in using Wireshark for deep packet inspection, protocol analysis (SIP, RTP, HTTP), and root cause investigation of call quality and signaling issues.
- Automation Tools: Practical experience with workflow automation platforms such as N8N, Ansible, Jenkins, or GitLab CI/CD, enabling automated deployment, alerting, and remediation pipelines.
- Elastic Stack (ELK): Familiarity with Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana for centralized logging, observability, and dashboarding of service health and operational metrics.
- Monitoring & Alerting: Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, Zabbix, or similar tools for proactive monitoring, alerting, and SLA compliance tracking.
Certifications
Look for certifications like CCNA: Collaboration or CompTIA Network+, to validate foundational knowledge in networking and VoIP.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
