Job Summary
As a Medical Content Strategist, you will shape how clinically relevant medical information reaches over two million clinician members by curating and packaging medical research, clinical news, and healthcare trends for busy clinicians across specialties. You will bring strong editorial judgment, clinical nuance understanding, and curiosity about AI in medical content workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage content curation across medical specialties and clinical interests
- Monitor medical news, journal articles, clinical research, and healthcare trends to identify timely content for clinicians
- Evaluate scientific journal articles and distill meaningful takeaways without losing nuance
- Develop content strategies for different clinician populations based on evolving interests and engagement patterns
- Use LLMs and AI tools to support editorial workflows while maintaining clinical accuracy
- Collaborate with medical advisors and product partners to understand user needs and inform product development
Qualifications
- Knowledge or experience in healthcare, medical research, digital health, health journalism, medicine, or science writing
- Experience curating medical/clinical content, especially through email newsletters or recurring products
- Strong editorial judgment and clinical fluency with ability to simplify complex concepts
- Experience using LLMs or AI tools for research, summarization, or content development
- Interest in health tech, digital health, science writing, or medical content
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities across an editorial calendar
Nice-to-Haves
- Clinical degree or advanced clinical training (MD/DO, NP/PA, PharmD)
- Passion for medical news and understanding of how articles are shared in medical circles and social networks
Compensation
$85,000 - $100,000 (inclusive of salary + equity), based on skills, experience, and education/training.
