About Betwixt
Betwixt is an early-stage startup building a centralized big-data platform that gives AI agents persistent, long-term "forever" memory. We're moving fast toward funding and go-to-market, and we need a finance leader to build our financial foundation, sharpen our fundraising story, and keep us capital-efficient from day one.
This is a part-time / fractional role to start, scaling with the company. You'll be our most senior finance person, owning everything finance — strategy through execution.
What you'll own
• Finance & strategy: financial model, budgeting, runway and burn tracking, and an investor-ready data room.
• Revenue strategy: pricing, packaging, revenue modeling, and go-to-market economics for a brand-new AI product.
• Operations cost strategy: keeping us lean — especially compute/cloud as a primary cost line — without slowing the team.
• Compensation: designing cash + equity comp for the founding team and early hires; cap-table and equity-pool management.
What we're looking for
• You've been a CFO, VP Finance, or fractional CFO, ideally at venture-backed or pre-seed/seed startups.
• You've helped raise capital and can build a model investors trust.
• You're comfortable operating with incomplete information and moving fast.
• You use AI in your finance workflow and hold a current Claude or OpenAI Codex subscription (required).
Compensation & logistics
• Equity only right now (no cash before we close funding); cash + additional equity once funding closes.
• Part-time / fractional, fully remote.
• Fast pace — we're racing to funding and market.
