Business Analyst

Role: Product/ Business Analyst

Location: Remote

Role Overview:

We are looking for a highly structured, execution-focused, and detail-oriented Product / Business Analyst cum Project Manager to support end-to-end coordination across business, product, operations, compliance, and technology teams.

This role will sit at the intersection of business analysis, project management, and product execution,

and will be responsible for gathering and structuring requirements, running Agile ceremonies,

coordinating sprint delivery, creating business and system diagrams, driving follow-ups, and ensuring

alignment between product intent and technical execution.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in a fintech, banking, financial services, or other

regulated technology environment, and should be able to bring clarity, structure, and momentum to

cross-functional delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Scrum and Delivery Management

● Run and manage Agile ceremonies including daily standups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

● Track sprint progress, timelines, blockers, dependencies, risks, and action items to ensure smooth execution.

● Coordinate across engineering, QA, product, design, operations, compliance, and business stakeholders to drive delivery.

● Maintain project trackers, delivery dashboards, meeting notes, and status updates for ongoing initiatives.

● Ensure priorities are aligned and execution remains on track across multiple parallel workstreams.

Business Analysis and Requirement Structuring

● Gather, analyze, and document business, operational, and product requirements in a structured manner.

● Convert discussions and stakeholder inputs into clear BRDs, FRDs, PRDs, user stories, workflows, use cases, and acceptance criteria.

● Translate business requirements into implementation-ready functional specifications for technology teams.

● Identify process gaps, edge cases, risks, dependencies, and ambiguity before development begins.

● Support requirement walkthroughs and ensure all stakeholders are aligned on the intended solution.

Diagramming and Documentation:

● Create and maintain clear visual documentation such as:

1. business process flows
2. user journeys
3. workflow diagrams
4. system architecture diagrams
5. integration flow diagrams
6. approval / maker-checker / role-permission flows
7. operational process maps

● Ensure documentation remains updated, organized, and usable for both execution and future reference.

Product and Technology Coordination:

● Assist the Product Manager in breaking down initiatives into actionable stories, tasks, and delivery plans.

● Support the tech team with requirement clarifications, business logic understanding, and documentation support.

● Act as a bridge between business, product, and engineering teams to ensure implementation aligns with requirements.

● Help validate whether built features match expected business outcomes and documented logic.

Quality, Governance, and Execution Support:

● Support QA and UAT by validating implemented flows against documented requirements.

● Proactively flag inconsistencies, missing cases, scope changes, and execution risks.

● Help maintain process discipline, auditability, and delivery governance in regulated or operationally sensitive workflows.

● Manage and prioritize multiple assignments while maintaining delivery quality and follow-through.

Required Skills:

● Strong understanding of Agile / Scrum execution

● Proven ability to independently run scrum ceremonies and sprint management

● Strong business analysis, requirement gathering, and documentation capability

● Ability to create structured business flows, workflow diagrams, and system architecture diagrams

● Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and non-technical teams

● Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and execution discipline

● Ability to convert ambiguity into structured plans and actionable deliverables

● Strong follow-up and coordination skills with a high sense of ownership

Preferred Experience:

● 2–5 years of experience in Business Analysis, Project Management, Product Operations, Delivery Management, or similar roles

● Prior experience in fintech, banking, financial services, payments, wealth-tech, capital markets, investment platforms, or other regulated technology environments is strongly preferred

● Exposure to Web3, blockchain, tokenization, digital assets, or compliance-led product environments will be an added advantage

● Familiarity with workflows such as onboarding, KYC/KYB, approvals, transaction flows, treasury operations, audit trails, reporting, or investor/user journeys is preferred

● Awareness of current trends and evolving technologies across banking, data architecture, data security, and related domains will be a plus

● Prior exposure to internal initiatives involving process improvements, monitoring and analytics enhancements, tooling support, documentation, legacy workflow transition, or platform support coordination will be beneficial

● Ability to guide junior team members and contribute to team-level execution maturity is desirable

Additional Expectations:

● Able to support research and improvement-oriented workstreams related to product, process, technology, and industry practices where needed

● Comfortable contributing to internal projects such as workflow optimization, documentation

enhancement, monitoring improvements, and execution support

● Capable of assisting in issue coordination, troubleshooting follow-through, and cross-functional

resolution management

● Able to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment

Tools / Working Knowledge:

● JIRA / Confluence / Notion or similar tools for sprint and documentation management

● Miro / Lucidchart / Draw.io / Figma for diagramming and process visualization

● Excel / Google Sheets for trackers, reporting, and structured coordination

● Basic understanding of APIs, integrations, data flows, and technical dependencies is preferred

Qualifications:

● Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, Computer Science, Finance, Engineering, or a related field

● Scrum, PMP, CBAP, or related certifications will be an added advantage
