Job Description This is a remote position. ALFA is hiring an Accounting Specialist 2 to manage accurate financial records. This fast-paced role promotes skill development and career advancement, within a company valuing integrity, innovation, unity, and humility. Responsibilities ā Maintain and update accurate financial records, including ledgers, journals, and accounts payable/receivable. Reconcile bank statements, credit card transactions, and other financial data. Manage and process payroll, including taxes and deductions. Provide financial insights and recommendations to management based on analysis. ā Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or similar role, with at least 2 years in a junior position. Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices. Experience with accounting software (Quickbooks, Xero, Sage and Netsuite) ā Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficient in both written and verbal communication in English and French
