Account Executive Intern

Job Overview

Accounts Executive - Intern:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in accounting operations, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), invoice management, and financial reporting. Experience with Zoho Books is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and share invoices with clients in a timely manner.
• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes.
• Handle day-to-day accounting activities including debit notes, credit notes, vouchers, invoices, and journal entries.
• Perform account reconciliations and prepare monthly bank reconciliation statements.
• Follow up with clients for invoice collections and outstanding payments.
• Prepare reports and analyze planned vs. actual financial performance.
• Assist in the preparation of Trial Balance, Profit & Loss Account, and Balance Sheet.
• Support account finalization activities and maintain accurate financial records.
• File GST and TDS returns and ensure statutory compliance.
• Prepare financial reports and MIS reports as required.
• Assist in preparing documentation for Income Tax and GST scrutiny.
• Coordinate with senior team members on various accounting and finance-related activities.
  
  

Mandatory Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Prior internship or work experience in the Accounts/Finance domain.
• Hands-on experience with Zoho Books (Mandatory).
• Experience handling Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
• Good understanding of GST, TDS, Income Tax provisions, and related compliances.
• Knowledge of account reconciliation, financial reporting, and bookkeeping.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
• Strong hold on payment collections.

• Experience in preparing financial statements and supporting audits.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple accounting tasks efficiently.

Salary/Stipend: As per company standards and candidate experience.
