Summary

Rikkei Japan – Road to Japan is a career program designed for Software Engineers (SE) and Bridge Software Engineers (BrSE) who aspire to build a long-term career in Japan.

ResponsibilitiesFor Software Engineers (SE)

Develop software solutions for domestic and international clients across various industries, including e-commerce platforms, cryptocurrency exchanges, insurance systems, asset management systems, transportation management systems, travel and hospitality solutions, and more.
Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements clarification, system design documentation, development, testing, deployment, and system operation.
Design, develop, and test software systems and features.
Create development plans and manage implementation progress according to project schedules.
Research and apply new technologies to improve development efficiency and product quality.

For Bridge Software Engineers (BrSE)

Act as the bridge between Japanese clients and the development team.
Communicate with clients to gather, analyze, and clarify project requirements.
Review business requirements and project documentation, and align project scope with clients.
Manage project schedules and quality, while monitoring and reporting project status.
Conduct code reviews and collaborate with development teams to ensure product quality.
Participate in system analysis and design activities together with project teams.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or related fields.
At least 2 years of programming experience with one or more of the following technologies: Java, PHP, .NET, C/C++, Mobile Development, etc.
Japanese language proficiency at JLPT N2 level or above, or equivalent, with the ability to communicate independently in a business environment.
Strong sense of ownership and responsibility.
Good teamwork and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience as a BrSE, Project Manager, or Team Leader.
Experience in system analysis, proposal writing, and direct communication with Japanese clients.
