Job Description About the School / Company This private Level II kindergarten was established in March 2014 and is located in Jiangqiao Town. The campus covers 6,600 square meters with a building area of 4,189 square meters, accommodating 14 classrooms. The kindergarten creates a relaxed and joyful educational environment that is family-oriented, play-based, and art-enriched. Using play and hands-on activities as core learning experiences, young learners perceive, explore, discover, and learn through engagement. Position Overview The Kindergarten Teacher will deliver English instruction and care for young learners aged 2 to 6 years old. This role involves working Monday to Friday with a midday break, teaching classes of 20-25 students. The teacher is supported by Chinese teaching staff and receives ongoing training and professional development. Working Hours • Monday to Friday • 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM • 2.5-hour noon break (12:00 PM to 2:30 PM) Class Structure • Class size: 20 to 25 students • Student age: 2 to 6 years old • Teaching team per class: o Kindergarten Teacher o Chinese Teaching Staff Key Responsibilities • Deliver engaging English lessons that align with the kindergarten's play-based and hands-on curriculum • Create a relaxed, joyful, and safe classroom environment that supports exploration and discovery • Cultivate children's practical skills, coordination, self-care abilities, and learning capacity • Supervise daily routines including activities, meals, and rest periods • Collaborate with Chinese teaching staff to ensure consistent care and instruction Requirements Requirements • Native English speaker from US, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, or South Africa • Major in Early Childhood Education, Drama, or Art preferred • Two years of kids teaching experience strongly preferred; TESOL certification is a plus • Ability to apply for a Chinese Z visa in an English teaching position • Patient, loving, and responsible approach to early childhood education Benefits Salary & Benefits • Salary: 15,000 - 18,000 RMB per month basic and teaching salary • Housing allowance: 3,000 RMB per month • Reimbursement for document authentications including work visa, residence permit, and medical checkup fees • Flight ticket reimbursement: 5,000 RMB or prepaid flight for graduates • Contract renewal bonus: 5,000 RMB • Medical and accident insurance provided • Up to 4 days free hotel provided for settling in • Chinese public holidays fully paid; summer and winter vacations partially paid • Ongoing training and professional development • Career development opportunities in teaching, course development, and regional trainer roles • Interview guidance and arrangement • Visa guidance, follow up, and advice • Pre-training including orientation, Chinese culture, Mandarin, and teaching methodology • Airport pickup and hotel arrangement upon arrival • Apartment rent support and city life introduction Attachments Shanghai Kindergarten Intro&...pdf View Download
