Employment Opportunity : : Heavy Duty Mechanic Department: Production Maintenance Employment Status: Fulltime (40 hour work week) Salary: CI$4,075 to CI$ 6,112 per month Overtime Eligibility: Yes , On-call rotation Work Environment: Plant Corporate – Workspace is primarily in the Administrative Building In Field – Workspace is primarily Off Site at various l ocations around the island Plant Area- Workspace is primarily in the Power Plant Area Hybrid – Workspace is a combination of in the Administrative Building and in the Field or in the Plant Area Satellite- Workspace is at one of CUC’s satellite locations Responsibilities The successful candidate will be responsible for: P erforming all maintenance tasks on production equipment as directed . General maintenance, trouble shooting, repair and performing major overhauls on diesel engines and related auxiliary equipment . Conducting scheduled maintenance on a planned basis. Carrying out unscheduled maintenance in a thorough and timely manner. P erform stand-by duties as required after normal working hours . Other duties as may be assigned from time to time . Requirements Applicants should possess : High school diploma , with 2 year diploma in mechanics preferred Five years related work experience in diesel engine and related equipment maintenance and repair .
