German Speaking Business Development Representative Google Products Location: Barcelona (Hybrid) Employment Type: Fulltime, Permanent Contract Ready to elevate your career and join a fast-growing team in the digital world? Purpose of the Role As a Business Development Representative, you will be the first point of contact for businesses across the EMEA region. You'll identify new sales opportunities, engage with potential clients, understand their needs, and guide them toward the right cloud based solutions through outbound calls and emails. Responsibilities Achieve quarterly SQO (Sales Qualified Opportunity) targets and meet daily/weekly activity quotas Manage a portfolio of assigned accounts and identify high potential prospects Educate customers on available solutions and product value Execute daily outbound calls and emails (including cold calls) and communicate with Cleve decision makers Build quick rapport, understand customer pain points, and gather technical requirements Map prospect needs to Google Cloud Platform solutions and build value for next sales steps Update and maintain all prospect and customer information in Salesforce (leads, contacts, accounts, activities) Contribute to team and individual KPI goals related to productivity, conversion rates, opportunities and pipeline Document customer interactions thoroughly in Salesforce to maintain full visibility for stakeholders Requirements BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience C2level German Fluent English (spoken and written) Experience in outbound sales, B2B sales, or business development (preferably in IT) Basic understanding of cloud computing concepts, especially Google Cloud Platform Strong business acumen and ability to match business needs with suitable cloud solutions Excellent interpersonal skills, integrity, and professionalism Comfortable working toward a sales quota in a phone based environment Solid general IT skills and ability to navigate computer based tools efficiently Desirable Experience 1 year of outbound IT sales prospecting Strong sales acumen and persuasive communication skills Experience with cold calling and managing large account portfolios Salesforce or other CRM experience Ability to identify key decision makers in corporate structures Proactive, goal oriented, competitive, and self-motivated mindset Understanding of the local business environment Desirable Skills Process excellence Collaboration Clear and effective communication Emotional intelligence Open-mindedness Critical thinking and data driven decision making Solution oriented approach Entrepreneurial mindset Benefits Fulltime position (39 hours/week, Monday to Friday) Hybrid working model in Barcelona Competitive salary: 25,440 gross/year + up to 6,360 annual bonus Referral program (up to 2,000 depending on language/project) Relocation support available Constant coaching and development Clear career path and growth opportunities Regular contests and performance incentives Excellent working environment, international colleagues, and strong team culture Dynamic, business casual office environment
