Job Description Summary The Documentation Specialist – HVDC & FACTS plays a critical role in ensuring the quality, readiness, and compliance of commissioning and QA/QC documentation across complex global energy projects. This position supports project execution from site activities through final handover, with a strong focus on ITPs, ITRs, commissioning dossiers, and documentation standardization. The role also contributes to the development and maintenance of C&C reference solutions, offering broad international exposure and close collaboration with engineering, commissioning, quality, and project teams worldwide. Job Description 1. Documentation Lifecycle & Quality Management End-to-End Ownership: You will lead the creation, review, and management of all commissioning and QA/QC documentation (e.g., ITPs, ITRs, handover dossiers, and commissioning procedures). Compliance & Standardization: You are responsible for ensuring all documentation meets contractual requirements, ISO 9001 standards, and industry-specific regulations (IEC, IEEE). System Integrity: You will maintain document registers and audit-ready records using industry-standard platforms like Aconex, PIMS, or Autodesk Construction Cloud. 2. Project Execution & Site Support Operational Integration: You will support site teams during critical project milestones, including Factory/Site Acceptance Testing (FAT/SAT), pre-commissioning, and final energization. Traceability: You must ensure that documentation keeps pace with physical project progress, ensuring that as-built drawings and test reports are accurate and readily available for site activities. 3. Global Coordination & Stakeholder Management Cross-Functional Interface: You will serve as the primary point of contact between global engineering centers, regional project managers, clients, consultants, and third-party inspection agencies. Multicultural Collaboration: You will manage document workflows (revisions, approvals, and submittals) across different regions and time zones, requiring strong communication and relationship-building skills. 4. Continuous Improvement & Strategy Reference Solutions: Beyond daily execution, you will help develop and implement standardized templates and "reference solutions" to improve documentation efficiency across the company’s global project portfolio. Required Qualifications A Bachelor’s degree or Degree in Engineering (Electrical preferred). Experience: 7–10 years in project execution, specifically within HVDC, FACTS, or large-scale EPC power projects. Must be comfortable and experienced working with active project sites and the complexities of power substation environments. A high degree of proficiency with document control software and the ability to interpret complex technical specifications and drawings. Additional Information Relocation Assistance Provided: Yes
