We are seeking an experienced Computer Systems Engineer / Architect to support critical emergency communications modernization initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in systems engineering, IP networking, SIP/VoIP technologies, and E-911/NG911 environments within Federal or DoD networks.

Key Responsibilities

• Support E-911 implementation and emergency communications integration activities.

• Provide systems engineering, architecture reviews, and technical assessments.

• Analyze IP routing, SIP call paths, and network interconnection performance.

• Coordinate with government and contractor stakeholders on provisioning activities.

• Support location provisioning, validation, and emergency call routing processes.

• Identify technical risks and develop mitigation strategies.

• Troubleshoot routing and interoperability issues impacting emergency services.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of systems engineering or network engineering experience.

• 5+ years of IP routing and enterprise communications experience.

• Hands-on experience with SIP/VoIP technologies.

• Experience supporting E-911/NG911 environments.

• Experience supporting DoD or Federal networks.

• Active Secret Security Clearance.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with DISA VISP.

• Army Voice Modernization (VMOD) experience.

• PSAP interconnection experience.

• Cisco certifications such as CCNP or CCIE.

• Experience using network analysis tools such as Wireshark.
