About this role

About the Job

Our client is a venture-backed, high-growth technology enterprise scaling human capital infrastructure and integrated business solutions. We are seeking an analytical, detail-oriented, and people-focused Benefits Analyst to join our fully distributed global People Operations division. In this vital corporate role, you will not just process static forms; you will manage data integrity across health, wellness, retirement, and leave-of-absence programs, serving as an internal subject matter expert to ensure seamless compliance and employee satisfaction.

Why Join Us

  • Total Remote Work Autonomy: Work from wherever you are most productive, utilizing a premium, distributed HR tech stack backed by digital collaboration tools and remote-first operations.
  • Global Mobility & Impact: Step out of a purely regional administrative role. Your data audits and employee-facing support will help shape competitive total rewards frameworks on a national scale.

Responsibilities

  • Benefits Data Systems Administration: Audit, input, and maintain critical employee benefits selections, health plan enrollments, and life event modifications across internal Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS).
  • Employee Inquiries & Case Management: Serve as a compassionate, responsive point of contact for employee benefits questions, explaining corporate policies regarding health insurance, 401(k) matching, dental, vision, and wellness stipends.
  • Invoice & Billing Reconciliation: Perform routine monthly financial audits on third-party benefits provider invoices, cross-referencing carrier data loops against internal payroll deductions to correct enrollment discrepancies.
  • Regulatory Compliance Reporting: Support senior analysts in compiling data layers for critical compliance audits, tracking metrics to satisfy ACA reporting, ERISA standards, and COBRA notification tracking.
  • Open Enrollment Coordination: Assist in the annual open enrollment architecture, helping draft clear, scannable educational collateral, updating digital information portals, and verifying system configuration settings.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelorโ€™s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Finance, Psychology, or an equivalent business-quantitative or social science hybrid discipline.
  • Experience Level: 0 to 2 years of professional experience. This is an entry-level position; robust corporate HR internships, university human capital capstone projects, or extensive experience handling sensitive data sets are highly valued.
  • Spreadsheet and Tooling Literacy: Exceptional spreadsheet modeling capabilities in Microsoft Excel (proficient with VLOOKUP, data sorting, and pivot tables to match datasets).
  • Polish and Communication Ethics: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills. You must possess the emotional intelligence required to discuss complex, sensitive medical and financial data with personnel.
  • Proactive Remote Independence: A self-starting operator who excels at organizing structured timelines, protecting data privacy (HIPAA compliance), and remaining highly accountable across distributed time zones.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bilingual Language Fluency: Professional verbal and written proficiency in Korean is highly preferred to support cross-border organizational tracking and communicate effectively with global personnel.
  • Basic foundational exposure to modern enterprise HRIS platforms (such as Workday, BambooHR, ADP, or Rippling).
  • Initial familiarization with the fundamentals of US healthcare structures, tax-advantaged accounts (HSA/FSA), and 401(k) compliance guidelines.

Job Location & Details

  • Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent
  • Visa Support: OPT / STEM OPT Validation & H1-B Sponsorship Provided
  • Salary Range: $60,000 โ€“ $78,000 USD base structure + Performance Bonus, Remote Workspace Technology Stipends, and Premium Corporate Health, Dental, and Wellness Benefits.
