This role reports into the D&IT Senior Director APAC/India and ensures seamless delivery of global‑standard IT infrastructure, end‑user services, and operational governance while closely partnering with regional leadership. The position plays a critical role in enabling business productivity, maintaining zero‑disruption operations, and acting as a trusted IT advisor to local stakeholders ensuring governance at the site level. Key Responsibilities 1. Site IT Planning & Delivery Analyze IT requirements for office expansions, and relocations, developing comprehensive project plans to ensure seamless integration of technology. Own IT planning and execution for the Pune office, with oversight over the Mumbai office, including spending approximately four days per month onsite in Mumbai to provide site level D&IT governance and engage with end users as needed 2. Business & IT Collaboration Foster strong collaboration between IT subject matter experts and local business owners to implement global standard infrastructure and end user environments. Act as the primary IT point of contact for site leadership and end user escalations working in conjunction with D&IT Senior Director. 3. Operational Governance & Service Management Provide IT operations governance at the site level, guiding Managed Service Providers (MSPs) to ensure favorable outcomes and high service quality. Establish and maintain site level governance routines, metrics, and service reviews. 4. Technology Enablement Coordinate with regional and global IT teams to ensure timely setup, availability, and proper functioning of critical hardware, software, and collaboration tools, enabling productivity for all employees. Ensure alignment with global IT standards, security, and compliance requirements. 5. Matrix & Leadership Engagement Work effectively within a matrix environment, collaborating with multiple regional and global teams. Partner closely with the Senior Director – IT India & APAC to ensure all site level technology needs are met and escalations are handled efficiently. 6. Vendor Alignment Work with region specific vendors while strictly adhering to global IT architecture and standards. 7. Continuous Improvement Conduct regular assessments of local IT systems and environments, identifying opportunities for improvement. 8. Financial & Budget Input Collaborate with cross functional teams to provide input on budget to Senior Director D&IT 9. Vendor & Supplier Management Develop and maintain strong relationships with local vendors, suppliers, and service providers. Actively participate in contract negotiations in partnership with the IT Procurement team, ensuring delivery of high quality services and value for money. 10. End User Support & Advisory Provide hands on technical guidance and escalation support to local teams, addressing IT issues promptly to maintain uninterrupted operations. Serve as a trusted advisor to end users, focusing on service excellence and customer satisfaction. 11. Innovation & Industry Awareness Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices. Proactively recommend innovative solutions that enhance site level IT capabilities and employee digital experience to Senior Director – IT India & APAC 12. Employee Engagement & Enablement Provide input to the Senior Director – IT India & APAC on site level initiatives, plan and achieve end user delight. Provide regular reports on service levels working with partners for India sites. Support IT led employee engagement activities at the site level, reinforcing a culture of service excellence, governance, and enablement Preferred Qualifications Strong communication and ability to work directly with end users Strong governance mindset with a service oriented approach Minimum Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering IT/Software/Computer related or a 3-year STEM degree with equivalent experience. Experience: 7 – 10 years of overall IT experience ITIL V4 certification preferred but not required At least 2 years in site‑level IT administration, operations and governance roles Certifications PMI certification a plus. #LI-IB2 Work Environment/Physical Demands May involve field work.
