About the Job
Our client is an elite, globally integrated financial advisory and corporate services firm helping fast-scaling multinational enterprises expand, structure, and optimize their operations across international borders. We are seeking a highly analytical, client-facing Advisory & Accounting Consultant to join our premier U.S. corporate practices division. In this full-time role, you will manage a diverse portfolio of international corporate clients, spearheading full-cycle financial reporting, cross-border corporate advisory, and tax compliance strategies.
Why Join Us
- Fully Remote Flexibility: Manage your client portfolio and advisory deliverables autonomously from anywhere in the U.S. using modern, cloud-native financial technology stacks.
- Accelerated Advisory Trajectory: Step past repetitive, single-company bookkeeping into a dynamic consulting landscape where you advise multiple cross-border enterprises on scaling strategies.
Responsibilities
- Portfolio Consultation: Independently oversee full-set accounting workflows, complex general ledger integrations, and period-end close operations for a dedicated portfolio of corporate clients.
- Financial Statement Synthesis: Prepare, analyze, and present comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with accounting standards (US GAAP and IFRS frameworks).
- Audit Orchestration: Serve as the primary technical point of contact for clients facing external audits, compiling meticulous audit schedules, asset reconciliations, and structural documentation.
- Cross-Border Tax Advisory: Advise clients on federal, state, and international tax configurations, coordinating the preparation and filing of corporate returns while optimizing corporate tax footprints.
- Corporate Structuring Support: Guide international enterprises through the operational intricacies of U.S. entity selection, corporate formations, state licensing, and structural regulatory mandates.
- Compliance Frameworks: Ensure strict portfolio alignment with modern corporate compliance guidelines, handling corporate secretarial documentation and federal filing workflows.
Qualifications
Required
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a heavily quantitative business discipline.
- Experience: 2 to 4 years of progressive professional experience in corporate accounting, financial consulting, tax compliance, or public audit—ideally within a reputable corporate services firm, CPA agency, or financial consulting group.
- Technical Software Mastery: Advanced command of MS Excel (dynamic forecasting models, complex formulas, and macro configurations) paired with deep operational fluency in cloud accounting ecosystems (such as QuickBooks Online, Xero, NetSuite, or SAP).
- Communication Polish: Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills, with the professional confidence required to present intricate financial strategies directly to client executives.
Preferred
- Professional Credentials: Progress toward or completion of professional accounting designations (such as a CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent) is highly preferred.
- Global Language Skills: Fluency or professional proficiency in a second language (such as Korean, Mandarin, or Spanish) is a massive competitive asset given the firm’s global, cross-border client base.
- Client-Facing Success: A proven baseline tracking record of successfully managing relationship pipelines for multi-jurisdictional business owners or corporate buyers.
