Role Description This is a full-time, remote role for a Video Editor at Hotel Growth Hub. The Video Editor will plan, edit, and produce high-quality video content for online courses, social media, community promotions, and marketing campaigns. Daily tasks include assembling raw footage, selecting and cutting clips, adding transitions, sound, and graphics, and ensuring consistent branding and storytelling. The role involves color grading, basic sound adjustments, and collaborating with content, marketing, and community teams to translate concepts into engaging video formats. The Video Editor will manage multiple projects simultaneously, organize media assets, and deliver content optimized for various platforms and formats. Qualifications
Strong skills in Video Editing and Video Production, with experience managing projects from concept to final delivery.
Proficiency in Video Color Grading to ensure visual consistency and high-quality output.
Ability to create Motion Graphics and Graphics that enhance storytelling and support brand guidelines.
Experience with professional editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects or similar).
Solid understanding of aspect ratios, codecs, and formats for social media, web, and online learning platforms.
Excellent attention to detail, time management, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Prior experience in hospitality, education, or online communities is a plus.
Relevant education or equivalent professional experience in film, media, communications, or a related field.
