Objectives of this role:
The Talent Sourcer will play a crucial role in identifying and attracting top-tier talent to support Outsource Recruiters' mission of simplifying the hiring process. This role focuses on building a strong candidate pipeline through diverse sourcing strategies while ensuring a smooth and engaging candidate experience. The Candidate Sourcer will help businesses connect with quality outsourced talent, one hire at a time.
Responsibilities:
- Source qualified candidates using LinkedIn, job boards, social media platforms, talent databases, and other sourcing channels.
- Build and maintain pipelines for active and future hiring needs.
- Conduct advanced Boolean searches and candidate research to identify passive talent.
- Source candidates for niche, specialized, and hard-to-fill roles across multiple industries.
- Develop sourcing strategies that directly contribute to reducing time-to-fill and improving hiring outcomes.
- Optimize job advertisements for different job boards and sourcing platforms to maximize visibility, engagement, and candidate quality.
- Understand how platform algorithms and search functionality impact candidate reach and continuously improve posting performance.
- Utilize sourcing and recruitment tools such as Snov.io, Apollo.io, LinkedIn Recruiter, and AI-powered recruitment technologies to streamline sourcing efforts.
- Conduct social media sourcing and outreach to engage prospective candidates.
- Collaborate with recruiters and hiring managers to understand role requirements and adjust sourcing strategies accordingly.
- Maintain accurate candidate records and sourcing activity within recruitment systems.
- Continuously evaluate and implement new sourcing channels, automation opportunities, and recruitment technologies to improve efficiency and results.
Required skills and qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of recent talent sourcing experience in recruitment, staffing, executive search, or talent acquisition.
- Proven experience working within a staffing agency, recruitment firm, or executive search environment.
- Demonstrated success sourcing for niche, specialized, and hard-to-fill positions.
- Strong experience utilizing multiple job boards, sourcing platforms, and candidate databases.
- Advanced Boolean search skills and candidate research techniques.
- Experience optimizing job postings for various recruitment platforms to improve visibility and applicant quality.
- Strong understanding of how sourcing strategies impact hiring speed, candidate quality, and overall recruitment performance.
- Experience using sourcing tools such as Snov.io, Apollo.io, LinkedIn Recruiter, and similar platforms.
- Familiarity with AI-powered recruitment and sourcing tools that improve efficiency and productivity.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple searches simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to have:
- Experience screening candidates and conducting initial interviews.
- Experience supporting full-cycle recruitment processes.
- Experience sourcing for international clients, particularly in North America, Australia, or the United Kingdom.
