Responsibilities Strong experience in an enterprise Microsoft Windows environment, supporting the Windows Server OS, desktop OS, Microsoft Azure Active Directory, OS 365 Experience supporting MSSQL Server, including database backups and restores, and proficient in VMware administration Strong experience supporting Cloud based backup systems. Experience with AWS Server Monitoring is a plus Ability to automate tasks using PowerShell scripting Identify the gaps within the existing SOP and fill them Create, develop and document best practices and educate the users Build, monitor, and test cloud computing components including DaaS and Saas Respond to requests for IT support from employees, and track these problems using ticketing management system until complete resolution is attained Work closely with the Helpdesk team and provide the solution for all escalated tickets Work closely with the multiple project and security teams Participate in planning and exercises for Risk management, Continuity of Operations (COOP), Contingency, and Disaster Recovery Plans Qualifications 5+ years of proven working experience in the IT industry Very strong computer skills, especially working experience with Dell laptops Very strong working experience with installing, configuring, upgrading Windows 10, patch management, and BitLocker encryption Very strong working knowledge with software deployment and automation of tasks Experience with virtualization using VMware and Azure VDI Cloud administration experience with Azure and AWS Very strong working experience with OS 365 Experience with monitoring and alerting systems (Azure Server Monitor) Working knowledge with Switching/Routing/Firewall operations with DELL network devices Knowledge of ITIL Framework, ISO 20000 and CMMI Service Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose IT problems Working experience with Mac computers and their deployment Familiarity with SolarWinds N-Able solutions, Trend Micro File Encryption, SolarWinds Take Control Plus Good customer service skills, ability to communicate effectively to help customers fix their issues and feel satisfied with the experience Experience responding to requests for IT support from employees and tracking problems using a ticketing management system until complete resolution is attained Detail oriented including updating all service tickets with detailed notes Experience in troubleshooting hardware and software problems and providing effective solutions Proactive and excited to learn new things and quickly adapt to changes Education: Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related field with 5+ years relevant experience Microsoft MCP, Apple ACSP, CompTIA Network+ certifications are desired Preferred skills: AWS certification Location: Remote.
