Here’s what you’ll be doing: Networking & Market Presence Represent the MCTC Group of Companies at conferences, exhibitions, industry events, and after-event social gatherings. Proactively mingle with attendees, initiate conversations, and establish new relationships. Serve as a positive, professional ambassador for the company in all external environments. Identify relevant service areas through natural conversations. Relationship Management & Follow-Up Ensure new contacts are logged, categorized, and properly followed up. Arrange introductions and meetings between prospects and the appropriate internal teams. Maintain ongoing communication with new contacts to nurture relationships. Work closely with our existing networks to support referrals and mouth-to-mouth connections. Internal Collaboration Coordinate closely with colleagues in Germany, Greece, Cyprus, UAE, and Singapore to share leads, insights, and opportunities. Act as a bridge between new external contacts and the Business Development team. Provide structured feedback from events and networking activities for internal review. Marketing Support Work with the Marketing team to develop strategic engagement and outreach plans. Ensure new contacts are integrated into mailing lists, newsletters, and relevant communication cycles. Provide suggestions for marketing initiatives based on event feedback and market observations. Contribute to the planning of conference participation and brand presence at events. Travel & Field Engagement Travel frequently across Europe (and occasionally beyond) to attend events or client meetings. Maintain a high level of awareness regarding industry trends, client behaviours, and competition. You need these qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, MBA, Media & Communication Studies or a related field. 3–7 years of experience in client relations, external relations, partnerships, event networking, or similar people-focused roles within the maritime industry . Proven experience engaging with professionals at events and building new relationships from scratch. Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with confidence in engaging new contacts. Charismatic, sociable, and naturally comfortable networking in professional environments. Highly proactive, confident, and enthusiastic approach to relationship-building. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to turn informal conversations into structured next steps. High level of professionalism and cultural awareness. Willingness and ability to travel and work in field-based settings. Fluent in English (written and verbal). It would be nice if: Experience working with multinational or cross-cultural teams. Familiarity with CRM systems and marketing processes. Previous exposure to international events, conferences, or high-level networking environments.
