Position Summary The Senior Project Engineer (Project Engineer II) will lead and manage all phases of engineering projects related to tankless water heater development. This role involves planning, organizing, and executing project activities in coordination with cross-functional teams, using the company’s project management framework to meet objectives effectively. Key Responsibilities Lead full-cycle development of moderate-complexity projects, with a focus on mechanical and manufacturing design for tankless water heaters. Maintain up-to-date project documentation outlining current definitions and updates. Contribute to business and facility strategy development to support product line sustainability and growth. Participate in project scoping and specification meetings with marketing and management. Apply the company’s project management system to structure and execute engineering programs. Coordinate with various departments to gather input, report progress, and conduct regular project reviews. Ensure designs meet engineering principles, company standards, customer requirements, and applicable specifications. Troubleshoot and resolve design, scheduling, and testing challenges as they arise. Evaluate and propose design improvements and updates to technical specifications. Collaborate with other engineering professionals, offering expertise and insights as needed. Develop project cost estimates and manage expenses within budget constraints. Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers and technicians. Perform additional tasks as needed or assigned.
