As we continue to expand, we are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Accounting Manager to join our team and help drive our financial operations forward. ## Responsibilities * Oversee and manage all bookkeeping and financial operations for the company, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulations * Supervise and mentor an accounting assistant, providing guidance, task delegation, and performance oversight * Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements, reports, and forecasts on a regular basis * Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate processing * Oversee month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations and journal entries * Ensure compliance with local Spanish tax regulations as well as international financial reporting requirements * Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies as needed * Develop and implement internal financial controls and procedures to safeguard company assets * Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and financial planning activities to support business decision-making * Manage payroll processing and related compliance requirements * Support international financial operations, including multi-currency transactions and cross-border reporting * Collaborate with senior leadership to provide financial insights and strategic recommendations * Maintain and organize financial records in accordance with company policy and legal requirements * Attend in-office meetings and collaborative sessions at the Valencia headquarters on an as-needed basis ## Requirements * Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA, CMA, or equivalent professional certification preferred * Minimum of 5–7 years of progressive accounting or finance experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role * Strong knowledge of Spanish accounting standards, tax regulations, and compliance requirements * Experience with international financial operations and multi-currency accounting * Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, Xero, or similar platforms) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel * Demonstrated experience managing or supervising accounting staff * Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills * Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in financial reporting * Ability to work independently in a remote capacity while maintaining clear and consistent communication with the team * Willingness and ability to travel to the Valencia, Spain office on an as-needed basis * Fluency in Spanish is required; proficiency in English is strongly preferred * Experience in the technology or data solutions industry is a plus * Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with external stakeholders
