Our client is a leading global technology consulting and digital transformation organisation that helps enterprises optimise their technology landscapes and modernise IT operations. Due to continued growth within their ServiceNow practice, they are seeking an experienced ServiceNow ITOM Technical Consultant to support the delivery of enterprise-scale ServiceNow implementations for a diverse client portfolio.

This is an opportunity to join a highly skilled consulting team, working on complex transformation programmes and helping organisations maximise the value of their ServiceNow investment.

The Role

As a ServiceNow ITOM Technical Consultant, you will be responsible for designing, configuring and implementing ServiceNow ITOM solutions while acting as a trusted technical advisor to clients. You will work closely with stakeholders, architects and project teams to deliver scalable solutions that improve visibility, operational efficiency and service management capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure and deploy ServiceNow ITOM solutions including Discovery, Service Mapping and CMDB
• Deliver technical integrations and application development activities
• Provide technical leadership and recommend ServiceNow best practices and out-of-the-box capabilities
• Drive CMDB health initiatives, data governance and CSDM alignment
• Troubleshoot technical issues, conduct root cause analysis and implement solutions
• Produce technical specifications, documentation and knowledge transfer materials
• Ensure platform security, stability and integrity
• Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders throughout the implementation lifecycle
• Support project sizing, solution design and technical workshops

Required Experience

• Proven experience delivering ServiceNow ITOM implementations
• Strong understanding of Discovery, CMDB, Service Mapping and the Identification & Reconciliation Engine (IRE)
• Infrastructure knowledge across Windows, Linux and networking environments
• Strong understanding of ServiceNow platform architecture and integration best practices
• Experience gathering requirements and working directly with business and technical stakeholders
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and consulting skills
