ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA) - Remote U.S. Role Overview Templar Shield is seeking a ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA) to lead the technical architecture, design, and implementation of ServiceNow solutions supporting Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) and enterprise-wide asset visibility across IT, OT, and AI assets. This role focuses on ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, HAM, and SAM capabilities as the foundation for Security Operations (SecOps), Integrated Risk Management (IRM), and AI Governance programs in critical infrastructure and other highly regulated industries. The CTA is responsible for ensuring platform integrity, scalability, security, and compliance while translating enterprise architecture strategy into deployable, auditable ServiceNow solutions. Primary Responsibilities Technical Architecture & Platform Design Design and own end-to-end ServiceNow technical architecture across ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, HAM, and SAM. Architect scalable CMDB and asset models supporting IT, OT, cloud, SaaS, and AI assets with clear lineage and ownership. Define integration architecture with discovery tools, OT asset inventories, security platforms, and AI model registries. Ensure platform performance, availability, and resilience in enterprise and regulated environments. Enterprise Asset Management & Visibility Implement enterprise asset lifecycle management across hardware, software, operational technology, and AI assets. Establish authoritative asset data sources and reconciliation logic across ITAM, ITOM, and OT data feeds. Support visibility requirements for downstream SecOps, IRM, and AI Governance use cases. Ensure asset classification, criticality scoring, and dependency mapping meet regulatory and audit expectations. Security, Risk & AI Governance Enablement Architect ServiceNow solutions that enable: Vulnerability Response and Security Incident Response (SecOps) Risk assessments, control mapping, and compliance evidence (IRM/GRC) AI asset inventory, model lineage, and governance workflows (AI Governance) Ensure secure-by-design architecture aligned to zero trust, least privilege, and data protection requirements. Technical Leadership & Delivery Serve as technical authority on ServiceNow projects, guiding developers and implementation teams. Review and approve technical designs, integrations, customizations, and configurations. Troubleshoot complex platform , performance, and integration issues. Ensure adherence to ServiceNow best practices, upgradeability, and supportability. Candidates will also be asked to support Templar Shield in business development, technical solutions sales, and overall growth of the practice areas. • Support internal sales and client account teams in identifying IRM opportunities. • Support in the creation of proposals, effort, and cost estimates and submit responses to Request for Proposals (RFP's). • Assist in sales pursuits and proposals and assist growing Templar Shield practice areas. • Create a positive working environment by helping to manage workloads of the team balancing client expectations with the work-life quality of team members. • Enhance established Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and or Agile method for design and development various security operations solutions on the IRM platform to ensure all efforts are coordinated and controlled. Requirements Required Qualifications ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA) – required. 8+ years of ServiceNow platform experience, with deep hands-on expertise in ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, HAM, and SAM. Strong experience designing CMDB and asset models for large, complex enterprises. Demonstrated experience integrating ServiceNow with security, OT, discovery, and asset intelligence tools. Experience supporting regulated industries such as energy, utilities, oil & gas, healthcare, telecom, or public sector. U.S. citizenship or permanent residency; ability to work on U.S.-only engagements. Willing to travel up to 50% Preferred / Nice-to-Have Experience with OT asset visibility platforms and industrial environments. Familiarity with NIST, NERC CIP, ISO 27001, or similar regulatory frameworks. Exposure to AI model inventory, AI risk, or AI governance concepts ServiceNow CIS certifications (ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, SecOps, IRM).
