Senior US Accountant – Remote

This is not traditional outsourcing or back-office accounting. You will work directly with US founders, Controllers, and finance leaders in lean, fast-moving environments.

The Opportunity

We are hiring a Senior Accountant to take full ownership of general ledger operations for US-based clients. You will maintain accounting accuracy, drive close completion, and serve as a trusted finance partner to US leadership in fast-paced, project-driven environments.

This role is ideal for an experienced accounting professional with strong expertise in general ledger management, month-end close, and cross-functional collaboration with US-based stakeholders.

What You Will Own

• Own end-to-end general ledger operations under US GAAP
• Lead month-end close including journal entries, accruals, and general ledger reconciliations
• Support job costing, project-based accounting, and WIP schedule tracking where applicable
• Prepare balance sheet schedules and ensure financial statement accuracy
• Investigate and resolve account discrepancies proactively
• Maintain organized and audit-ready financial documentation
• Collaborate directly with US Controllers, project managers, and finance leadership
• Drive improvements in GL workflows and accounting processes

What We're Looking For

• 4+ years of accounting experience
• Strong reconciliation skills and detail-oriented problem-solving mindset
• ERP experience (NetSuite, Procore, QuickBooks, Sage, or similar)
• Strong attention to detail and deadline management
• Advanced English communication skills
• Availability for US time zone overlap
