Job Description
We are seeking an experienced leader to define, build, and scale modern analytical and AI-driven capabilities that support business decision-making across multiple functions. This role will help transform advanced analytics and artificial intelligence from isolated projects into operational, enterprise-grade solutions that are embedded in day-to-day processes.
Define and lead the strategy for advanced analytics, artificial intelligence, and generative AI capabilities.
Identify, prioritize, and deliver high-impact AI and analytics use cases aligned with business goals.
Design and deploy enterprise-grade AI systems integrated with core business platforms.
Lead the development of intelligent automation and AI-driven decision-support solutions.
Establish standards for generative AI solutions, including retrieval-augmented generation, knowledge systems, and prompt governance.
Oversee advanced analytics initiatives such as segmentation, forecasting, and predictive modeling.
Ensure scalable transition of AI solutions from proof-of-concept to production using MLOps/LLMOps best practices.
Define and enforce governance frameworks covering model performance, bias, explainability, risk, and compliance.
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders across business, IT, and data teams.
Build, lead, and mentor multidisciplinary teams including data scientists, AI engineers, and analytics professionals.
Promote analytics and AI literacy across the organization and foster a culture of responsible innovation.
Requirements
Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD preferred) in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
10–12+ years of experience in advanced analytics, AI, data science, or technology leadership roles.
Proven experience delivering AI and analytics solutions in production environments (beyond pilots or experimentation).
Strong expertise in advanced analytics, predictive modeling, and statistical techniques.
Hands-on knowledge of modern AI technologies, including generative AI, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), vector databases, and agent-based systems.
Experience designing scalable AI platforms and operating models using MLOps / LLMOps best practices.
Solid understanding of data architecture, cloud-based platforms, APIs, and system integrations.
Experience working in regulated or highly governed environments is strongly preferred.
Demonstrated ability to translate complex analytics and AI concepts into measurable business value.
Strong leadership skills with experience building, mentoring, and managing multidisciplinary teams.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, including engagement with senior leadership.
Fluent Japanese with business-level English communication skills.
