Working hours
Full-time, with flexible working hours.
Location

About the role
We’re looking for a Senior HubSpot Consultant to join Aventine Consultancy, a fast-growing HubSpot systems consultancy that blends the depth of experienced independent consultants with the structure, support and ambition of a consultancy.
This role is well suited to someone with strong experience inside the HubSpot ecosystem, whether that’s from a HubSpot Partner agency, a RevOps or CRM leadership role, or an in-house team where HubSpot was central to growth, sales, marketing, service or operations.
You’ll be joining a team of experienced HubSpot specialists who have delivered complex CRM restructures, multi-hub implementations, migrations, advanced automation projects and data architecture work across a range of UK businesses.
This isn’t a delivery-factory role. It’s for someone who can lead from the front, own client outcomes, challenge thinking, design robust solutions and see projects through from discovery and architecture to build, rollout, adoption and optimisation.
As a Senior HubSpot Consultant, you’ll take ownership of complex implementation and optimisation projects across multiple industries. You’ll lead discovery sessions, define solution architecture, design data models, build scalable processes, guide clients through decisions, and ensure the final HubSpot setup genuinely supports how the business operates.
You’ll work directly with senior client stakeholders and collaborate closely with our founders on strategy, delivery quality, internal frameworks and the growth of Aventine as a business.
We’re still small, with three founders, a growing delivery team and one very nosy dog, so this is a genuine opportunity to shape the business as it scales.
---
Lead HubSpot implementation and optimisation projects end-to-end, from discovery and solution design through to build, training, rollout and ongoing improvement.
Solution architecture
Design scalable HubSpot object structures, lifecycle frameworks, automation logic, data models and reporting frameworks that align with real business processes.
Senior client consultancy
Lead workshops, audits, roadmap sessions and stakeholder conversations. Translate commercial goals, operational challenges and messy requirements into clear CRM architecture.
Strategic problem solving
Challenge client assumptions where needed, identify the root cause behind CRM problems, and recommend solutions that balance best practice, business need and practical delivery.
Implementation and quality assurance
Build and oversee complex HubSpot assets, including workflows, custom objects, reporting frameworks, data migrations, integrations, permissions, governance structures and multi-hub configurations.
Delivery oversight
Work alongside consultants, delivery team members and specialist partners on multi-stream projects, ensuring work is joined up, well documented and delivered to a high standard.
Mentoring and support
Support less experienced team members by reviewing work, sharing knowledge, improving delivery standards and helping build confidence across the team.
Continuous improvement
Refine internal delivery frameworks, templates, documentation and processes. Help us improve how we scope, deliver, document and optimise HubSpot projects.

About youYou likely have significant experience within the HubSpot ecosystem already, perhaps at a HubSpot Partner agency, inside a scaling SaaS business, in a RevOps function, or in a senior CRM role.
You understand not just how HubSpot works, but how businesses rely on it commercially.
You’re comfortable moving between strategic conversations and hands-on implementation. You can sit with senior stakeholders and talk about revenue process, reporting, adoption and operational efficiency, then translate that into a clear HubSpot build.
You don’t just build what a client asks for. You step back, understand the wider system, identify risks, challenge assumptions and design something better.
You’re confident, commercially aware, collaborative and comfortable taking ownership. You don’t need everything mapped out for you, but you also know when to ask questions, bring people in and work as part of a team.
---
- Proven HubSpot experience, ideally 5+ years working hands-on with HubSpot in a partner agency, RevOps team, in-house CRM role or consultancy environment.
- Experience leading complex HubSpot projects, either client-facing or internal CRM transformation initiatives.
- Strong experience across multiple HubSpot hubs, ideally including CRM, Marketing Hub, Sales Hub, Service Hub and/or Data Hub.
- Confidence leading senior stakeholder conversations, workshops, audits and roadmap sessions.
- Strong understanding of CRM architecture, data structure, lifecycle stages, sales process, marketing operations, service operations and reporting.
- Ability to design scalable solutions, not just complete tasks.
- Strong workflow, automation and process design capability.
- Experience translating messy business requirements into clear HubSpot architecture.
- Comfortable owning client relationships and managing delivery expectations.
- Ability to challenge clients constructively when their requested solution is not the right solution.
- Commercial awareness around project scope, delivery effort, client value and long-term system sustainability.
- Comfortable working autonomously and taking ownership of outcomes.
- A team-first mentality, with collaboration over ego.
- An interest in mentoring, supporting and raising the standard of others around you.
---
Particularly relevant experience
These aren’t all required, but they’ll stand out:
- Experience working at a HubSpot Partner agency or consultancy.
- Experience leading HubSpot discovery, scoping or solution architecture.
- Experience working inside a business that used HubSpot as a core growth system, especially in SaaS, B2B services or high-growth environments.
- Experience with Salesforce or another CRM platform.
- CRM migrations, especially Salesforce to HubSpot.
- Multi-hub implementations.
- Custom object design and implementation.
- Revenue operations, customer lifecycle or sales process design.
- Service Hub implementation or support process design.
- Reporting, dashboarding and data model design.
- Experience with Zapier, Make, APIs, middleware or data integrations.
- Strong Excel or Google Sheets capability.
- Experience leading training sessions, enablement programmes or adoption workshops.
- Experience reviewing, improving or governing existing HubSpot portals.
- Experience mentoring junior consultants or supporting delivery teams.
---
We’re building something different: a consultancy where:
- Senior consultants have real ownership over outcomes, not just tasks.
- Every consultant is named on projects, not hidden behind “the agency”.
- You get to shape solutions properly, rather than being pushed into rushed delivery.
- 10% profit share and employee ownership mean you grow as the business grows.
- Work-life balance and autonomy genuinely matter.
- You get 25 days holiday.
- You’ll work directly with some of the UK’s most experienced HubSpot consultants on projects that push the platform properly.
- You’ll have the chance to influence our delivery model, internal frameworks, service offering and company culture as we scale.
- You’ll be part of a small, ambitious team where your thinking, judgement and experience will genuinely matter.
If you want a role where you can lead complex HubSpot work, shape client strategy, improve how businesses operate and help build a consultancy from an early stage, we’d love to hear from you.
