About The Role
We're hiring a Senior Accountant for our US-based fintech client (B2B payments technology). You'll report directly to the company's Controller and own the day-to-day accounting — AR, AP, and month-end close — for a growing, well-funded company.
This is a hands-on Senior Accountant seat, not a leadership role. You'll be in the books daily and partnering closely with the Controller, Customer Success, and engineering teams. There is real growth potential as the business scales.

What You'll Be Doing
Accounts Receivable & Collections
- Generate and review monthly invoices in QuickBooks Online (QBO)
- Identify and flag discrepancies; perform month-over-month variance analysis
- Verify subscription start dates for newly onboarded merchants
- Follow up with merchants on outstanding invoices and manage collections
- Partner with Customer Success on renewals validation
- Support ad hoc reporting on revenue and collections
Accounts Payable & Vendor Management
- Review incoming vendor invoices and categorize to appropriate expense accounts
- Manage approval workflows in Ramp
- Flag and escalate material invoice amounts for review
General Bookkeeping & Month-End Close
- Maintain and execute the month-end checklist (accruals, prepaids, fixed assets)
- Record and reconcile bonus accruals, commission accruals, and payroll entries
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations
- Manage fixed asset, depreciation, and amortization schedules
- Manage the company's virtual mailbox (Earth Class Mail)
Who You Need To Be
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Philippines
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy from a top Philippine university (Ateneo, UP, La Salle, UST, or equivalent)
- 4-8 years of accounting experience
- Big 4 audit experience (SGV/EY, Isla Lipana/PwC, KPMG, Deloitte) OR senior accounting experience at a large US/multinational corporation
- Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online (QBO) — non-negotiable for this role
- Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, financial modeling)
- Solid understanding of US GAAP
- Direct experience with full-cycle month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliations
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Available during Pacific or Eastern Standard Time hours
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience with subscription/SaaS revenue, recurring billing, or partner revenue share models
- Familiarity with Ramp, Salesforce/HubSpot, or Earth Class Mail
- Comfort working with AI tools (e.g., Claude) for research and workflow automation
