As we grow, we are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our team. We’re looking for someone who wants to take ownership of client deliverables, mentor junior team members, and drive quality and efficiency across their portfolio.

This role offers the opportunity to work on complex accounting matters, lead client engagements, and develop into a management role. You will prepare and review financial statements, guide associate accountants, and contribute to process improvements across the firm.

The Role

In this role, you will:

• Prepare and analyze financial statements and management reports
• Review work completed by associate accountants for accuracy and compliance
• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, identifying areas for improvement
• Reconcile complex accounts and investigate discrepancies
• Collaborate with managers and leadership to ensure timely completion of client deliverables
• Drive process improvements and efficiency in accounting workflows

Requirements

Education & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA, ACCA, or CA certification required

Experience

• 3–5 years of accounting experience
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting (US GAAP, IFRS)
• Expertise in accounting software (QuickBooks Online, Xero, or NetSuite)
• Experience reviewing work and mentoring junior staff is a plus

Skills & Competencies

• Strong accounting and analytical skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office / Google Workspace, particularly Excel/Sheets
• Clear, professional communication skills — strong English required
• High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Analysis

• Prepare and analyze financial statements and management reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP
• Perform month-end and year-end close procedures
• Prepare schedules and documentation for internal reviews
• Take ownership of special projects and ad hoc financial analyses as assigned

Core Accounting & Review

• Perform data entry and ensure the accuracy of financial records
• Categorize and review transactions from bank and credit card feeds for appropriate classification
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and other balance sheet accounts
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
• Review work performed by associate accountants for accuracy and completeness

Team Collaboration & Leadership

• Oversee accounting work performed by associate team members
• Provide guidance and training to associate accountants
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely completion of tasks
• Drive process improvements and efficiency in accounting workflows

Compliance & Documentation

• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Prepare and review compliance documentation
• Maintain and improve financial record-keeping systems
