SAP Time Management Consultant - Freelance

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced SAP Time Management Consultant to support the ongoing operations and future rollout of a live SAP Time Management application.

This person will act as a bridge between the run/support team and the project team, supporting day-to-day operations while also contributing to upcoming implementation activities

Key Responsibilities

The consultant will be responsible for:

• Providing SAP Time Management support across operational tickets and incidents.
• Managing and resolving SAP Time Management issues, including configuration and schema-related topics.
• Working closely with internal teams, including the run team and project team.
• Supporting upcoming implementations and integrations for additional countries.
• Helping future-proof the application as new entities are onboarded.
• Working on interfaces between SAP Time Management, SuccessFactors, and payroll systems.
• Providing expert guidance to a team that currently has limited SAP Time Management expertise.
• Ensuring issues are resolved before ticket volumes increase and escalate.

Project Background

The SAP Time Management application has been live for approximately three years and is now in an operational support phase. The system is expected to expand further, with planned integrations for additional countries by the end of the year, including Belgium, Germany, France, and the Netherlands.

Required Experience

The ideal candidate will have:

• Strong SAP Time Management experience.
• Deep knowledge of SAP Time Management schemas.
• Experience supporting SAP HCM Time Management in a live environment.
• Ability to handle operational tickets and provide hands-on issue resolution.
• Experience working with interfaces between SAP, SuccessFactors, and payroll systems.
• Strong understanding of time management processes and configuration.
• Ability to work independently and advise less experienced team members.

Nice to Have

• Experience in utilities or large enterprise environments.
• Experience with SuccessFactors integrations.
• Experience supporting multi-country SAP Time Management environments.
• Knowledge of payroll-related integration points.
• S/4HANA experience would be beneficial but is not essential.

Languages

The consultant should be able to speak either:

• French, or
• English

French and English together would be beneficial.

Location & Working Model

Preferred location: Brussels

Other possible locations:

• Paris
• Remote

The preferred working model is around 2 days onsite, ideally in Brussels. However, candidates based in Paris or working fully remotely may also be considered depending on profile strength and availability.

• Capacity: Full-time preferred
• Part-time may also be considered for the right candidate
• Start date: As soon as possible
• Latest start date: Flexible, but the need is urgent
• Contract length: To be confirmed

The ideal consultant will be hands-on, technically strong, and comfortable working in a support-focused environment. They should be able to take ownership of tickets, advise the internal team, and support upcoming country rollouts.
