In this role, you will guide the sales team in driving new business, developing a sustainable pipeline, and expanding our market presence within law firms. You will be responsible for shaping sales strategy, enabling your team to manage complex enterprise opportunities, and ensuring consistent execution of best-practice sales processes. This role is ideal for someone who combines strong leadership capability with hands-on enterprise selling expertise. Key Responsibilities Sales Leadership & Team Development Lead, mentor, and coach a team of sales professionals to exceed revenue targets. Establish high standards of sales discipline, governance, and execution. Support the team in navigating complex, high-value opportunities and RFP processes. Conduct regular sales reviews, opportunity planning sessions, and pipeline optimisation. Sales Strategy & Execution Develop and execute the go-to-market strategy for the legal sector. Drive targeted sales initiatives to build and maintain a strong pipeline. Provide leadership in value positioning, commercial structuring, and negotiation. Ensure timely and effective follow-up on sales qualified leads (SQLs) and partner-generated opportunities. Client & Partner Engagement Build and maintain strong relationships across the legal industry, including partners, senior management, and technology leaders. Support the team in uncovering client pain points and aligning them to our industry-focused solutions. Collaborate with channel partners, including technology sellers and specialists, to jointly target strategic accounts. Represent the organisation in sector forums, partner events, and industry initiatives. Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with pre-sales, delivery, and product teams to ensure cohesive and compelling client engagements. Facilitate high-quality demos, proposals, and bid responses in collaboration with pre-sales and technical SMEs. Provide market insights and feedback to influence product development and industry solution enhancements. Operational Excellence Maintain accurate and up-to-date forecasting, pipeline data, and opportunity records. Ensure all sales activity follows governance processes to manage risk and maintain quality. Promote knowledge sharing, continuous improvement, and a collaborative culture across the organisation. Skills & Experience Required Proven experience in a Sales Manager or Sales Team Lead role within enterprise SaaS, legal tech, or professional services software. Strong track record of leading and developing sales teams that win complex, multi-stakeholder deals. Direct experience selling solutions to law firms . Ability to nurture relationships at senior levels (Partners, COOs, CFOs, CIOs). Highly consultative sales approach with strong discovery and commercial acumen. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and executive presence. Strong organisation, initiative, and a proactive, high-energy leadership style. Ability to work effectively both independently and within a global team. Desirable Experience working within the Microsoft partner ecosystem .
