About Us
Our client has the longest track record in the cannabis payment processing industry — 25 years of specialized expertise. They help cannabis dispensaries across the United States accept debit and credit card payments, and they work with many of the biggest names in the space. They're headquartered in Orange County, California.
We're looking for a sharp, self-motivated Sales Appointment Setter (SDR) to drive the front end of our sales pipeline. You'll be reaching out to cannabis dispensary leads, educating them on our payment solutions, and booking qualified appointments for our senior closing team. The goal is simple: set enough appointments daily to help our closers hit 5–10 deals per week.
Responsibilities:
- Refine and execute an outbound sales strategy to reach cannabis dispensary decision makers
- Set qualified appointments for the sales closing team on a daily basis
- Educate potential clients on payment processing solutions, including debit and credit card acceptance
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients throughout the sales process
- Manage the full outreach cycle from lead generation to appointment handoff
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and client satisfaction
- 2+ years of sales experience with a strong cold calling background
- Ability to quickly build rapport with prospects over the phone
- Proven track record of meeting sales goals and moving leads through a pipeline
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment
- Available to work 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM Eastern (preferred)
- Experience in payment processing or the cannabis industry is a plus
