Role Purpo
se
The Sales Account Manager is responsible for nurturing and growing relationships within an existing portfolio of clients. This is a pure account management and growth role, focused on renewing, retaining and expanding revenue within an established customer base. The successful candidate will act as the primary point of contact for clients, building trusted relationships across HR, Operations, Payroll, Finance and IT functions, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, and identifying opportunities to increase account value through additional products and servic
es.
The Opportu
nity
This is more than a traditional sales role. As part of a growing organisation, the position offers the opportunity to gain a broader understanding of how a business operates, beyond sales alone. You will have ownership of your client portfolio and be encouraged to take a proactive and entrepreneurial approach to account growth. Working closely with the marketing team, you will develop and implement growth strategies, influence business outcomes and see the direct impact of your eff
orts.
For the right individual, this role provides genuine opportunities for professional development, career progression and long-term growth within a collaborative and supportive environ
ment..
Location and
Travel
This is a home-based role managing a national portfolio of client accounts, primarily located within major UK cities. The successful candidate will have the flexibility to manage their own diary and w
orkload.
Most client engagement will be conducted remotely via video conferencing and telephone. Following completion of the onboarding and training period, regular client visits will be expected, typically averaging one face-to-face meeting per week, with additional UK-wide travel as
required.
