Public Relations Consultant

To support all of our outreach for our current clients in Manila.

You will be preferably based out of Manila, and have the necessary skills and connections with the media outlets for this remote role, as you work with a team of consultants who are currently based in Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta, Bangkok and Ho Chi Minh City. You will also work with another one of our current colleagues already based out of Manila.

Responsibilities

To be able to function independently, and support SW Strategies for all our PR activations and research for clients.

To fit in this role, you will need to know how to prepare media releases, briefing books, pitch stories to media journalists and write op-eds and then ensure that they are picked up by media outlets.

You must also have a good knowledge of the media landscape in the Philippines and preferably already possess an existing relationship with the various media outlets in the Philippines.

Qualifications:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Experience in public relations and communications a requirement.

• Knowledge of Philippines media and its workings will be vital for this role.

• Must be able to show a history of having worked with media outlets in the Philippines
