Profile Requirements: Property Management Experience: Minimum 6 months to 2 years of experience in property management or a related real estate administrative role required; industry experience preferred. AppFolio Proficiency: Working knowledge of AppFolio or similar property management software with the ability to navigate tenant records, leases, and maintenance workflows. Tenant Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to manage tenant interactions professionally and clearly. Lease & Documentation Accuracy: Experience drafting leases or handling property documentation with high attention to detail and organizational precision. Financial Systems Familiarity: Comfortable handling rent entries, payment tracking, reconciliations, data entry, and maintaining accurate financial records within property management systems. Administrative Reliability: Strong organizational skills, responsiveness, and the ability to manage multiple property-related tasks in a structured, deadline-driven environment. Core responsibilities: Tenant Communication: Answer incoming calls and manage day-to-day tenant communications, ensuring prompt, professional responses to inquiries, concerns, & service requests. Notice Preparation & Delivery: Prepare and issue tenant notices accurately and on time, ensuring documentation is properly recorded and aligned with property management processes. Lease Drafting Support: Draft lease agreements and related documents with accuracy, ensuring terms are clearly reflected and properly formatted for review and execution. Maintenance Coordination: Coordinate maintenance requests by communicating between tenants and vendors, tracking progress, and confirming completion of work. AppFolio System Support: Utilize AppFolio for tracking tenant records, updating property data, managing communications, and maintaining organized digital files. Financial Record & Administrative Support: Assist with payment tracking, rent entries, updating financial records, data entry, and general administrative tasks tied to day-to-day property operations.
