Overview Digital Shared Services, a Shared Health service, is seeking a highly experienced Project Manager to support the transformation of healthcare delivery through advanced information and communication technology (ICT). This role focuses on enabling efficient, effective, and integrated information management systems across the provincial health sector. The successful candidate will lead complex, large-scale healthcare transformation initiatives, working with diverse clinical and executive stakeholders to improve patient outcomes and operational efficiency. Work Location This is a fully remote position within Canada . All services must be performed remotely from within Canada. Position Type Full-time contract (one individual resource) Privacy & Compliance The resource will not have custody or control of Personal Health Information (PHI) The resource will not act as an Information Manager as defined under The Personal Health Information Act (Manitoba) Key Responsibilities Lead end-to-end delivery of digital health and operational transformation projects Manage large-scale, provincially scoped healthcare initiatives Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including clinicians, physicians, senior leadership, and executives Develop and execute project plans, timelines, budgets, and risk management strategies Drive process improvement initiatives that enhance patient care and safety Lead change management activities using structured methodologies (e.g., ADKAR) Develop comprehensive communication strategies and stakeholder engagement plans Ensure alignment with provincial healthcare priorities and digital transformation goals Monitor project performance and report on progress, risks, and outcomes Mandatory Requirements (Pass/Fail) Valid Project Management Professional (PMP) certification Valid Prosci ADKAR Change Management Certification ( Proof of certifications must be provided ) Education Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Health Administration, Information Technology) Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered Required Skills & Experience Project Management Experience Minimum 10 years of experience managing information systems and operational transformation projects Demonstrated experience delivering multiple complex projects (minimum 3 examples required) Healthcare Transformation Minimum 8 years of experience leading healthcare initiatives focused on: Process improvement Patient safety Direct impact on patient care Stakeholder Engagement At least 5 years of experience working with large, diverse clinical stakeholder groups (50+), including: Frontline clinicians Physicians Senior management Executive leadership Experience delivering provincial-scale transformation projects Change Management & Communications Minimum 5 years of experience developing: Communication strategies Change management plans Key messaging for large-scale organizational change Experience in children's healthcare is required for at least one project Community & Primary Care Minimum 4 years of experience leading community health and primary care initiatives focused on improving healthcare outcomes Specialized Experience At least 1 year of experience in cardiovascular health projects , including: Strategic planning Project execution and delivery Core Competencies Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills Advanced communication and facilitation abilities Expertise in change management methodologies (ADKAR preferred) Strategic thinking with a focus on healthcare outcomes Ability to manage complexity in large-scale, multi-stakeholder environments Results-driven with a strong focus on quality and accountability Preferred Qualifications Experience working within Canadian provincial healthcare systems Familiarity with digital health platforms and interoperability initiatives Knowledge of healthcare regulations and privacy frameworks Application Requirements Applicants must provide: Proof of certifications (PMP and Prosci ADKAR) Detailed project examples demonstrating required experience, including: Project title Duration Scope Specific responsibilities and outcomes
