Job Summary: The Project Analyst will provide onsite analytical, coordination, and execution support to the Installation Management Command (IMCOM) at Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio, TX. This role supports Army partnership programs, asset management initiatives, and IMCOM operational activities by delivering high-quality project documentation, research, stakeholder engagement, and meeting support. The Project Analyst will provide direct support to IMCOM headquarters personnel, the Project Manager, Facilitation Team, and installation stakeholders to ensure projects are well-organized, on schedule, and aligned with Army and federal requirements. Responsibilities include supporting the planning and execution of partnership development projects, maintaining organized project records, facilitating meetings and workshops, preparing reports and deliverables, and tracking project progress throughout the lifecycle. This is a hybrid position requiring three days per week onsite at Fort Sam Houston , with two days remote. Duties and Responsibilities: Project Execution Support: Support planning, coordination, and execution of IMCOM partnership and asset management projects, including Public-Public initiatives. Maintain organized project documentation, including schedules, trackers, summaries, and action items. Assist with monitoring project milestones, timelines, and deliverables; identify variances and notify the Project Manager of issues or delays. Draft reports, white papers, and PowerPoint briefings for IMCOM leadership and stakeholder meetings. Assist Project Managers in preparing, assembling, and submitting contract-compliant project deliverables. Stakeholder Engagement: Support engagement efforts with installation leadership, government partners, local municipalities, non-profits, academic organizations, and private-sector stakeholders. Participate in and help facilitate onsite partner meetings, workshops, and working groups; capture notes, decisions, and follow-up actions. Provide onsite coordination between IMCOM HQ, installations, and project teams as required. Research, Analysis & Data Management: Conduct research and analysis on Army programs, community partnerships, asset management issues, local government processes, and related policies. Summarize findings and prepare narrative content for reports, deliverables, and decision briefs. Support development of partnership models, best practices, case studies, and project summaries. Track project budgets, expenses, and updates as assigned. Communication and Documentation: Prepare meeting agendas, minutes, decision logs, and follow-up documentation. Support the creation of communication materials, briefing decks, stakeholder updates, and internal summaries. Assist in maintaining compliant and organized project files in accordance with Army, DoD, and internal standards. Onsite Operations: Serve as an onsite presence at Fort Sam Houston to support day-to-day coordination with IMCOM stakeholders. Support logistics, schedule coordination, room reservations, task tracking, and document control for onsite meetings and engagements. Represent Salas O’Brien professionally while interacting with military and civilian leadership. Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Public Policy, Political Science, Communications, Public Administration, or related field. 1–3 years of relevant experience in project support, analysis, planning, consulting, government affairs, or stakeholder coordination. Strong writing skills with experience drafting reports, summaries, and presentations. Excellent organizational and time management skills; ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Ability to work onsite at Fort Sam Houston three days per week. S. Citizenship or eligibility to work with U.S. government clients is required. Preferred: Experience with DoD, Army programs, local government, or community development initiatives. Prior support to military installations, IMCOM, or federal consulting programs. Experience facilitating meetings, workgroups, or workshops. Location: San Antonio, TX (Hybrid at Fort Sam Houston) Clearance: Ability to work on DOD clients required Travel: Occasional (Up to 25%) Compensation: The expected base salary range for this role is $62,500-$70,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on a number of factors including skills, experience, qualifications, and location.
