We’ve processed millions of tests across all 50 states, and we do everything in-house, from sample testing and logistics to code, marketing, and design. That vertical integration gives us the speed, control, and creativity to shape the future of health and wellness. THE ROLE Performance creative is our highest-leverage growth input. We spend roughly $50K/day on Meta and want to be scaling rapidly across TikTok, YouTube, and our organic channels - all powered by a fast-growing creator program. While we obsess over spend, production capacity, and media buying, our biggest mechanic for success is the strategic connective tissue that turns customer insight into winning ads, week after week. As our Performance Creative Strategist, you will own that connective tissue. You’ll be the operator who runs our weekly creative flywheel end-to-end: mining insights from customers, creators, and competitors; concepting hooks, angles, and scripts; briefing our in-house team focused on creators, videos and static ads; and shipping 20-30 net-new ads per week into test. You’ll partner closely with our media buyers to close the loop between creative output and performance in-platform. This role was originally stood up by the founder and recently inhabited by the CMO. Success looks like a fast-paced builder coming in and efficiently building out the program to be more effective and earning the trust of senior leadership through results and a steady hand. You’ll build a lean, agile, in-house creative engine across paid social and creator-led organic, and in time, grow the team around you. We’re looking for a direct-response native with pattern recognition, copywriting with and a bias toward shipping. Not a brand generalist. Not a media buyer. A creative strategist who starts with the customer first and thinks in audiences, hooks, CTRs, and CPCs WHAT YOU’LL DO Own the Weekly Creative Flywheel Run our weekly creative cadence end-to-end: insights → ideation → writer’s room → production → Thursday launch → Monday review. Mine customer reviews, CX tickets, surveys, and creator footage to generate a living library of hooks, angles, and proof points. Maintain a rolling competitive teardown across health, wellness, CPG, and DTC. You’ll bring ideas to the team and drive the briefing process. Write tight, action-oriented briefs that give our performance creative production team a clear strategic rationale for every asset, not just a spec. Hold the line on shipping - 20–30 net-new creatives per week, with enough diversity that Meta’s algorithm has real options to optimize against. Performance Creative Development Concept and write high-converting direct-response creative across Meta and TikTok - static-first to validate CTR signal cheaply, then expanded to creators and video. Craft persuasive copy, hooks, and CTAs with customer knowledge and attention-getting teeth. Turn creator-led footage into paid-ready assets — creator content feeds paid, not the other way around. Own the landing page / creative match: partner with the landing page builders to keep the click-through experience as sharp as the ad. Iterate relentlessly - pattern-match across winning ads (TRT/peptide angles, needle-phobia, device-only visuals, female-health statics) to find new combinations, while also plumbing for net new angles and wide swings. AI & Data-Driven Creative Optimization Partner with our media buyers to close the loop: thumb-stop rate for hook strength, CTR for creative pull, CPC as the single most important proxy for CAC (CPC × 50 ≈ CAC). Test and build out AI-empowered workflows across ideation, scripting, voiceover, editing, and variant generation - we should aim to be an AI-first company and expect the creative engine to reflect it over time. Evaluate and operationalize the tools that power performance creative at scale (Parker, Frame, Foreplay, Air, Relay, etc.). Translate in-platform data and creative analytics into a weekly “what to make next” decision - not a report nobody reads. Prototype, test, and scale emerging formats before competitors do. Creative Operations & Team Leadership Run a lean, agile in-house creative engine across paid social and creator-led organic: Anvar (video), Jake (post/UGC), Adriana (statics), plus freelance and agency surge capacity as needed. Stand up standardized processes, naming conventions, and a single source of truth for briefs, assets, and performance - so we can scale without adding chaos. Manage a global creative pipeline with clear shipping accountability (“what are we shipping this week, by whom, by when”). Find ways to raise the creative floor of everyone around you - whether by running live working sessions or Loom-only handoffs…. You will locate the process that works best for team and company culture. Over time, grow the team: hire additional strategists, writers, and editors as scale and volume demands. Each new hire will be business cased. Stakeholder Engagement Eventually serve as the primary creative approvals contact for paid social, with escalation to CMO, founders or legal resources where necessary. Succinctly present weekly learnings, winners, and next bets across the team and to leadership with a clear point of view - not a data dump. Collaborate cross-functionally with growth, brand, product, CX, and creator ops to keep messaging coherent across the funnel. Support our creator roster and our team handling creators (Brian Pruitt, Michael Holland, Cady, and others) - brief them, debrief them, and turn their footage into winning paid ads. WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR 7+ years in performance creative, growth marketing, or in-house performance agency roles - with a portfolio of paid social ads that actually scaled, ideally on budgets of $1M+/month. Direct-response instincts. You think in hooks, CTRs, and CPCs, not in brand manifestos or decks. Maybe you’ve read some Ogilvy, Eugene Schwartz or Dan Kennedy. Exceptional copywriting and creative storytelling - real wit and a clear voice, not generic “agency copy.” Deep pattern recognition across winning ads. You study what works, form hypotheses, and bring ideas to the team rather than wait to be briefed. Proven experience running a creative pipeline across in-house teams, creators, freelancers, and agencies - including briefing, feedback, and shipping on a weekly cadence. Fluency with the modern performance creative stack: Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads Manager, Figma, Motion/Atria, Frame, Foreplay (or equivalents). AI-first curiosity - you already use generative tools to accelerate ideation, scripting, editing, and variant production, and you have a point of view on where they go next. Comfort with creator-led content as the top of the creative funnel: you can turn raw footage from creators into paid-ready assets at speed. Strong project management instincts. You run a tight ship, hit Thursday launches, and hold the team (and yourself) accountable. For this particular role, the base salary range is $110,000 - $145,000 and will ultimately be decided at the offer stage, based on an individual candidate’s level of skills and experience aligned with the needs of this role. Base salary is one component of total compensation for this position. We provide a competitive mix of base salary and equity for eligible roles.
