Hospitality Content Associate
Brik · [Istanbul / Remote] · Full-time or Part-time
About Brik
Brik is a mobile-first microlearning platform that turns operational documents, SOPs, and training manuals into structured, engaging courses for frontline teams. We work with leading hospitality, retail, and manufacturing brands to help their people learn faster, retain more, and perform better on the job.
Hospitality is one of our fastest-growing verticals. We're looking for a hospitality-minded content associate to help us raise the bar on every hotel course we ship.
About the Role
You'll own the quality and evolution of our hotel training catalog — from onboarding and ISG modules to department-specific operational courses. You'll work directly with our content strategy lead, collaborate with hotel clients, and make real decisions about what great frontline learning looks like.
This role is ideal for a student or recent graduate who understands how hotels actually operate, cares about the guest experience, and wants hands-on experience shaping training products used by real hotel teams.
What You'll Do
- Own the hotel curriculum roadmap. Audit existing courses, identify gaps, and propose new modules based on client needs and operational realities on the property.
- Review and edit course content. Catch errors, tighten explanations, sharpen scenario-based questions, and make sure every level reads like it was written by someone who's actually worked a hotel shift.
- Run client surveys. Design and conduct feedback cycles with hotel partners to identify what's working, what isn't, and what to build next. Translate findings into concrete action items.
- Respond to client feedback. Correct questions and content based on comments from hotel managers and trainers, keeping turnaround fast and quality high.
- Support the broader content team. Jump into ad hoc projects — source document prep, QA, pilot testing, client reviews — wherever we need an extra sharp pair of eyes, as long as it is related with content.
What We're Looking For
- Currently studying or recently graduated from a hospitality or tourism management program at a reputable university
- Hotel operations literacy — you know the difference between front office and housekeeping SOPs, and you can spot when a process description doesn't match real life
- Strong writing and editing instincts in **both Turkish and English** — English proficiency is non-negotiable, as you'll write customer-facing content, including blog posts, for our international clients
- Attention to detail that borders on obsessive: typos, tone inconsistencies, and logic gaps bother you
- Genuine curiosity about how people learn, and a point of view on what makes training actually stick
- Self-directed and comfortable receiving and acting on specific, criteria-based feedback
Nice to Have
- Internship or part-time experience at a hotel (front office, F&B, housekeeping, or guest relations)
- Exposure to instructional design concepts (Bloom's taxonomy, scenario-based learning) — or eagerness to learn them quickly
- Basic familiarity with AI tools and prompt writing
- Working knowledge of a third language (German, Russian, or Arabic is a plus given our hotel client base)
What You'll Gain
- A seat at the table where real content decisions get made
- Direct exposure to how AI-powered content pipelines work in production
- A portfolio of shipped work at recognizable hotel brands
- Mentorship from a content team that treats quality criteria like a craft
