Role Description

The Order Entry Specialist will accurately enter and maintain orders in the company’s systems, ensuring all details, specifications, and documentation are complete and compliant with internal standards.

Responsibilities

• Enter customer orders into the company database accurately and efficiently.
• Review orders for completeness and accuracy.
• Verify customer information, product details, pricing, and shipping information.
• Update order records and maintain accurate documentation.
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding order status when needed.
• Communicate with internal departments to resolve order discrepancies.
• Monitor incoming emails and process order requests promptly.
• Maintain confidentiality of customer and company information.
• Meet daily productivity and accuracy goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous data entry, administrative, or customer service experience preferred but not required.
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office and email applications.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Reliable internet connection and a dedicated workspace.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to type at least 35–45 words per minute preferred.
