Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Mobile Software Tester with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in mobile application testing. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the quality, performance, and reliability of our clients’ iOS and Android applications. You will work closely with development teams, product managers, and other QA professionals to identify issues early and deliver outstanding mobile products.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute detailed test plans and test cases for mobile applications (iOS and Android).
• Perform functional, regression, usability, performance, compatibility, and security testing on mobile apps.
• Conduct manual and automated testing across various devices, OS versions, screen sizes, and network conditions.
• Identify, document, and track software defects using bug-tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla).
• Collaborate with developers to reproduce issues and verify fixes.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using frameworks such as Appium, Espresso, XCUITest, or Detox.
• Participate in requirement reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality risks.
• Execute exploratory testing to uncover edge-case scenarios and usability issues.
• Prepare test reports, metrics, and dashboards to communicate testing status and quality insights.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest mobile testing tools, trends, and best practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in mobile application testing (iOS and/or Android).
• Strong knowledge of mobile platforms, including iOS and Android OS versions, device fragmentation, and mobile-specific challenges.
• Experience with test automation tools and frameworks (Appium is highly preferred).
• Proficiency in writing clear and concise test cases and bug reports.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and mobile testing in cloud environments (e.g., BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, AWS Device Farm).
• Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Preferred Qualifications

• ISTQB certification or equivalent QA certifications.
• Experience testing React Native, Flutter, or native mobile applications.
• Knowledge of API testing (Postman, REST Assured).
• Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Xcode Instruments, Android Profiler).
• Previous experience in fintech, healthcare, e-commerce, or other regulated industries.
