This is a part-time, remote role for Maths Online Mentors at Codeyoung. The mentor will be responsible for conducting live online math classes for students in the 5 to 17 age group. They will ensure an engaging, student-focused learning experience by using interactive teaching techniques. The role also includes preparing lesson plans, addressing student queries, assessing progress, and ensuring students grasp key mathematical concepts effectively.
- Strong proficiency in Mathematics with the ability to teach concepts ranging across different levels
- Experience in online teaching or conducting virtual classes
- Proficiency in engaging students through student-centric, interactive teaching methods
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong organizational skills for planning and delivering lessons
- Ability to tailor teaching methods to individual student learning needs
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field (preferred)
- Familiarity with digital teaching platforms or tools is a plus
