What the role actually looks like This is hands-on, real engineering. You’ll be out on site — not stuck behind a desk — installing and upgrading lightning protection and earthing systems across a wide range of buildings. Working at height using scaffolding, access equipment, and safe systems of work Installing lightning protection systems in line with design specs Upgrading and repairing existing systems Completing site documentation properly (no shortcuts) Liaising with site teams, project managers, and clients Working independently or as part of a tight-knit team We aim to keep work regional, but there will be occasional stays away depending on projects.
