Role Description This is a remote, contract Investor role focused on supporting the strategic and financial growth of Dada Music. The Investor will review business plans, financial models, and performance metrics to assess funding needs and opportunities. Day-to-day activities may include participating in regular check-ins with founders, providing feedback on product and go-to-market strategies, and helping refine milestones for future investment rounds. The role may also involve leveraging professional networks to connect the company with potential partners, advisors, and co-investors. The Investor is expected to bring a thoughtful, data-informed perspective to discussions while respecting the autonomy of the founding team.

Qualifications

• Experience in early-stage investing, venture capital, private equity, or angel investing, ideally within SaaS, music tech, or broader creative technology sectors.
• Strong financial literacy, including the ability to evaluate forecasts, unit economics, and key performance indicators for digital subscription or freemium models.
• Background in business strategy, entrepreneurship, product management, or management consulting, with a focus on growth-stage companies.
• Ability to conduct structured market research and competitive analysis within music, creator tools, or digital content platforms.
• Comfort working remotely with distributed teams, using virtual collaboration tools for communication and document review.
• Clear, concise communication skills and the capacity to provide constructive, objective feedback to founders.
• Prior experience supporting startups as an advisor, board member, or mentor is a plus.
• Interest in music, audio technology, or creative industries, with an openness to learning about new tools and workflows.
