Hollybeck is a friendly, downโtoโearth mortgage and protection brokerage based in Derby. We are expanding our admin team and looking for an experienced Insurance & Mortgage Administrator to support our advisers and help deliver an exceptional client experience.
Due to our current volume of business, we are looking for someone who can hit the ground running and confidently manage cases with minimal supervision. We recognise the value of experience and are keen to attract someone who can make an immediate impact within the team.
This role is ideally suited to someone who already has experience in protection or financial services administration and can confidently manage cases with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:
โข Manage protection applications from submission through to completion
โข Liaise with insurers, clients, advisers and medical agencies
โข Chase outstanding requirements and keep all parties informed
โข Handle sensitive client information accurately and confidentially
โข Maintain upโtoโdate CRM records and documentation
โข Support the mortgage administration team during busy periods or staff absence
โข Manage your own workload effectively while working remotely
What Weโre Looking For:
โข Previous experience in protection, insurance, mortgage or financial services administration
โข Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
โข Confident, professional communication skills
โข Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
โข Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office
โข Understanding of protection applications and processes
โข Familiarity with insurer portals, medical agencies or underwriting processes is highly desirable
โข CeMAP qualification (or working towards) is advantageous but not essential
โข Must be based in the East Midlands and able to travel to Derby when required
Location
This role is currently remote, but you must be based within the East Midlands and able to travel to Derby for team meetings, training sessions and collaboration days. As the business grows, we expect to move into an office in Derby. When this happens, the office will become the main place of work, with some flexibility maintained where possible.
Working Hours
This role will be partโtime, working 20โ25 hours per week, typically over 3โ4 days (to be agreed). As you settle into the role and become confident with our processes, there may be opportunities to increase your hours over time.
